Our Crémant - Sensation
Our Crémant is a blend of Riesling, Pinot Noir and Auxerrois. The plots are all located in Remerschen.
The exceptional quality of our "Crémant de Luxembourg" is certified by the members of the tasting committee of the National Office for the Designation of Controlled Origin (Office national de l'appellation d'origine contrôlée), which functions within the Commission of the "Marque nationale du vin".
The corks are marked "Crémant de Luxembourg" and the rectangular label on the back of the bottle bears the words "Marque Nationale - Appellation contrôlée - Crémant de Luxembourg" (controlled origin - Luxembourg sparkling wine), which guarantees the Luxembourg origin and the quality control carried out by the state.
The conditions for calling a sparkling wine "Crémant" are strictly controlled (here is an excerpt):
the grapes must be picked by hand;
a maximum of 100 litres of wine may be produced from 150 kilos of grapes;
the blend must become sparkling wine through a second alcoholic fermentation in the bottle (which is why it takes almost 24 months to be ready);
the sugar content must be below 50g/l.


At our annual blind tasting before bottling, the 2022 vintage was once again completely convincing.
The mousse is lively, elegant and finely sparkling. The nose has aromas of ripe berries, white fruits and a hint of vanilla. On the palate, the Crémant is very creamy and balanced, lively, with notes of orange peel. It stays on the tongue for a long time and shows a lot of power and structure in the finish.

Our Crémant Sensation differs from classic sparkling wines due to some special characteristics, especially a distinctive character and the perfect ripeness of the grapes, which are transported to the winery without the slightest damage.
Our Sensation can be served as a real specialty as an aperitif, on festive occasions, at receptions or when friends come to visit. It also harmonizes perfectly with almost all dishes.
It should be served chilled with an ideal temperature between 6 and 8°C.
It should be stored lying down in a dark, dry and cool place. The cork should always be moist, ie in contact with the Crémant.
